Recently, a reader gave me the idea to search for and list jobs from home that offer sign-on bonuses. I thought this was a great idea, so I searched around today to see what was out there.
I found a handful of different remote jobs that advertise a sign-on bonus when you get hired. Even if there’s nothing below that suits you or what you’re qualified to do, remember that jobs change all the time!
After I list the jobs that offer signing bonuses below, I’m adding a section for you to explain that you can always find more to offer at any time.
The way to search for companies that offer signing bonuses is pretty easy if you’re comfortable searching the various job boards, but I know there are people who would still prefer instructions. So, you will find them at the bottom of this post.
Sign-on bonuses usually come with a delay
Another thing I want you to remember is that even if a company offers you a sign-on bonus, they won’t give it to you from the day you start working.
Most companies won’t pay you your sign-on bonus until you’ve been working for them for a month or more. This is because there is always a chance that you will not like the job and quit within the first few weeks. Which means they are out of that money!
This is a risk they generally won’t take, although there may be some exceptions.
So keep in mind that if you find a job you want to apply for below, you will need to work for the company for a certain period of time before they give you the sign-on bonus.
Work at home companies offering sign-on bonuses
1 – Holland America
Holland America Cruise Lines is hiring personal cruise consultants to make outbound sales calls to guests who have expressed interest in Holland America Lines cruises.
They are offering a sign-on bonus of $1,000. Starting pay is $15 an hour, plus you get commission.

2 – BECU
BECU Community Credit Union is hiring home contact center consultants in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. You will assist customers with questions and concerns regarding their financial accounts.
BECU is offering a $1250 sign-on bonus Pay rates start at around $19 an hour.

3 – AT&T
AT&T is hiring home customer service and sales representatives in Colorado, Iowa, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Wyoming.
In this role, you will assist customers with credit/inbound and outbound collection, activation, customer service, e-services, revenue, fraud, business and technical/roaming support inquiries and other duties as required.
AT&T is offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for this role Starting pay is $16 to $19 an hour.

4 – Regional Medical Imaging
Regional Medical Imaging is hiring Remote Scheduling Representatives to work full-time in Michigan.
You will answer incoming telephone calls from referring physicians or patients, schedule studies/studies or forward calls to the appropriate staff or department. Answers questions about the establishment and provides callers with addresses, directions and other information.
A sign-on bonus is offered, but the amount is not listed.

5 – Westport Features
Westport Properties is currently hiring Sales Center Representatives to work from home in AR, CA, FL, GA, MD, MN, NV, TN, and TX.
In this role, you will answer all incoming calls and set reservations, among other duties.
Westport Properties is giving you a $1,000 sign-on bonus when you’re hired. Pay rates range between $17 and $20 per hour.

How to find remote jobs with sign-on bonuses
If nothing listed above works for you, it’s really easy to find more of these jobs for yourself.
The way I found the above jobs was by going to LinkedIn and then typing “work from home signs on bonus” in the keyword field. I left the location field blank so it shows jobs available from everywhere.
You can also go to Indeed.com and search the same way to find more remote jobs with sign-on bonuses!
