1 – Search Engine Evaluation – Internet Rater
A search engine evaluator, or “Google Rater,” a unique job position where you can do it all from the comfort of your own home without talking to anyone!
A search engine evaluator evaluates search engine results to see how relevant they are to the search.
For example, if you Google “World of Coca-Cola”, their website should pop up as the first result or at the top of the search engine results page.
This is because those keywords match the results. Other websites, such as Wikipedia pages about the history of Coke or online stores selling Coke products, would also be relevant, but World of Coke should not lose its own website.
You are also working on tasks that vary from the above, primarily for the purpose of training artificial intelligence.
Companies typically pay $13/hour or above. You don’t need to be on the phone (unless you’re using your smartphone for specific tasks), but you do need to track your time, so if you can expect interruptions at home (eg, you have kids or other jobs), this is for you. May not be the best role.

2 – Freelance writing
Writing is definitely a lonely activity – and an extremely enjoyable one!
You don’t have to talk to anyone, and can do your work from anywhere, from the comfort of your bed (stay in your PJs all day!) or a quaint coffee shop (get hyped on caffeine!).
Finding steady work can be difficult, but the key to finding steady work is finding retention clients; It’s easy to say and hard to do.
Many authors offer blog posts in bundles – say, x amount of 10 blogs per month.
What you want to charge for a retention fee depends on your experience; Of course, the more experienced you are, the more you should charge. If you have a large social media following, charge for that as well! Having numbers to back you up is extremely helpful.

Getting to the decision maker on a job board can be difficult, but keep trying and don’t get discouraged. It takes a long time to build a resume and a following. It’s a marathon, not a sprint, but you can absolutely win the race!

3 – Replication
Transcriptionists can make a pretty penny, especially if they are in a specialty field like medical or legal transcription.
The primary skill for transcription, of course, involves listening—not speaking. Which means no talking to other people! However, be forewarned – transcription is not an easy task. Like any other role, it requires training and study.
General transcription is usually more interesting, but medical transcriptionists are always needed.
To be good at transcription you must be good at typing, grammar, spelling, punctuation, have a good ear, be able to sit for long periods of time – the list goes on.
You may need to use some people skills – but don’t let that stop you! Advertising your availability is another way to find work, but once you’ve built up an impressive client base it won’t be necessary.

4 – Blogging
We’re all well aware by now that blogging can be quite lucrative – and it involves little interaction with other people, unless you’re doing an interview, or emailing back and forth with your blog followers. All this, of course, depends on the type of your blog.
Blogging is writing, and you should blog/write about what you know. However, don’t despair if “what you know” means woodcarving – you can still get affiliate marketing posts from woodcarving!
The way affiliate marketing works is you sign up to promote something — a product or service — and earn a commission if any of your blog readers sign up for or buy what you’re promoting.
Once you get some conversions, you start getting paid. And you can still make money from that one post for years.
Affiliate marketing is just one example of how you can earn from blogging, but it’s the most profitable if you do it right!

5 – Voiceover work
If you’ve got a voice for radio, these days, it might mean you’ve got a voice for voiceover work!
Although it certainly helps if you have an acting background, you don’t necessarily have to be an actor to be able to do the job.
Remember that you’ll need to do multiple voices for different characters, especially if you’re diving into audiobook narration.
It’s a great solo acting gig – one where you don’t have to interact with other actors!

Becoming an eBay seller isn’t easy, but it’s not as difficult as it sounds. There are many steps to the process, but it can be worth it in the end, because you can make a living on eBay without much interaction with others (except your customers, of course).
