10 Types of Digital Printables for Beginners

to do list

Everyone needs a to-do list, and it seems like most people still prefer to write their lists the old-fashioned way — on paper. So why not create a printable and sell it?

You can create to-do lists in a variety of styles, including minimalist or colorful designs.

quote

Inspirational quotes or funny quotes are popular digital printables, and they’re easy to make! You just need a nice, attention-grabbing font and know which quote you want to use. And yes, people buy them!

Often, people download and print/frame them for wall art, or they use them on small cards for bookmarks or reminders.

Calendar

As with to-do lists, many people still prefer a physical calendar rather than relying on something digital.

You can create monthly or yearly calendars that people can print and use to keep track of important dates and appointments, designed in an attractive style that they can sell over and over again.

Recipe card

If you enjoy cooking, share some of your favorite recipes and create printable recipe cards for others to use.

You can design them with a simple layout or add some additional, interesting design elements to make them more attention-grabbing.

colored pages

I remember when my kids were little, I was always looking for unique coloring pages that I could download and print out for them. It is still something that parents love to do.

Plus, coloring pages are popular with both adults and kids! Many adults like to color to relieve stress.

You can create printable coloring pages with complex designs or simple images and then sell them over and over again.

the planner

Create printable planners for daily, weekly or monthly use. They can be used for goal-setting, tracking habits or scheduling.

Party Printables

Create printable party invitations, banners and cupcake toppers for special occasions like birthdays or baby showers.

People throw parties all the time — graduations, weddings, retirements, baby showers, birthdays, engagements, etc. You can be very creative with the specific types of party printables you create.

Budget Worksheet

Create printable worksheets for budgeting, saving and tracking expenses.

These can be helpful for people who want to manage their finances. And again, a lot of people really like to sit down and use pen and paper for things like this.

Checklist

Create printable checklists for various purposes like cleaning, packing or organizing. People love checklists!

They can be useful for those who want to stay organized and productive. And an eye-catching design will help ensure it sells.

Printables for kids

Create printable activities for kids such as puzzles, word searches or connect-the-dots.

Parents and teachers love these! They can be used for both entertainment and education.

My friend Julie at Gold City Ventures made $10,000 in one year selling digital printables. He was not a designer and had no graphic design training.

He gave it a try and realized that as he started earning hundreds a month just by listing a few things, he was too big on something.

If you want some more information on how to do this from someone who has done it successfully, just go here for a free video workshop that you can watch to get the gist of it.

Good luck!
