A company I recently became aware of that has virtual assistants open for multiple countries (not just the US) is Wing.

According to the Wing website, they’ve helped hundreds of businesses grow rapidly by delegating repetitive, mission-critical tasks to dedicated virtual assistants.

They claim that their “general assistant” can do any business task that doesn’t require any highly specialized knowledge, although they have a list of more specialized services that businesses can pay for (and you can do this with Wing can apply)

The wing is open to the US as well as the Philippines, India, Mexico and possibly other countries.

Who is eligible to work for Wing?

It depends on the specific position you are applying for. But for the purposes of this review, we’re just covering the “general virtual assistant” job opening for each country.

It looks fairly entry-level. The list for US workers states that you only need to be a high school graduate or complete a certification course.

You should have good organizational and time management skills as well as familiarity with common online tools such as spreadsheets and calendars.

More specialized positions ask you to have relevant experience.

How is the schedule with Wing?

The General Assistant position is full-time, 40 hours per week.

How much does Wing pay?

Unfortunately, the job listing doesn’t say what the salary is. However, it says that it will be based on your experience and skills.

Training is provided. As with most virtual assistant jobs, training is not provided, so that’s a plus!

I dug around on Glassdoor to see if I could find an average on salary, but found nothing.

In the review, some workers complained that the pay was not high enough.

I checked Glassdoor for reviews, and the response is a little mixed but overall not terrible. Many employees had good things to say about the company. Initially that management is great and there are opportunities to progress and learn more.

There were more complaints about low pay although some people seemed happy with their pay.
