Many people shy away from anything customer service-related when looking for work-at-home jobs, but you shouldn’t. Not every position involves angry customers or infomercials. There are some tasks that can be a little fun. Or at least less stressful.
In today’s post, we are talking about some telecommuting jobs in the food industry. Some of these are order taking jobs. Some of these things are on the delivery side. But, all have something to do with food. Keep an open mind! You may find one or two here you’ll enjoy.
1. LiveOps
LiveOps is a company that hires at home agents to cover several prominent companies. For many years, their agents have been taking orders from Pizza Hut.
As you can imagine, this client’s most significant demand comes at night and on weekends. This can make a good gig for those who have a day job. These calls are pretty simple. You’re simply taking orders, offering upsells, and helping customers find coupons on occasion.
- LiveOps requires their agents to have a landline, wired internet connection, quiet workspace and headset.
- The schedule is 30-minute blocks.
- Payments are made twice a month by check or direct deposit.

2. GrabHub
NexRep is hiring for GrubHub agents as we speak. If you’re unfamiliar with GrubHub, it’s an online ordering system for tons of local takeout restaurants — 45,000 restaurants in more than 1,100 U.S. cities.
As a GrubHub representative for NexRep, you’ll help app users with their support needs. Like most of these home food industry positions, nights and weekends are required. NexRep is incredibly upfront about their hourly requirements. NexRep requests a minimum of 20 hours for scheduled weekly services between 12:00 pm – 12:00 am, Friday – Tuesday.

3. UberEATS
We are all familiar with Uber today. But what if you don’t feel comfortable with strangers’ cars around your car? Don’t worry! You can still make money with Uber. You don’t even need a car for this opportunity. UberEATS deals with a bike or scooter.
The UberEATS program offers delivery instead of driver service. As an UberEATS driver, you’ll deliver orders instead of taking them.
One thing drivers love is the instant pay opportunity. Uber now has Instant Pay which allows you to get paid up to five times a day and same day delivery. no wait This can come in handy if you need immediate cash for an emergency.

4. HelloFresh
This is another location outside the home. HelloFresh is a great subscription service that offers healthy ingredients and recipes to make at home. It’s great for busy people who want to eat healthy but need a little extra help.
HelloFresh is currently looking for brand ambassadors in several major cities such as Austin, Dallas and Denver. As a brand ambassador, you will attend events in your city and introduce the service to people face-to-face.

5. Kozymil
Some locations on this list are not always available. This Cozymeal location is one of them. At the moment, however, they are looking for a customer service/sales agent and working remotely is great as per their job description.

6. Red Bull
This is a temporary seasonal position with NexRep. It’s pretty low pressure. You are only receiving calls and emails after special Red Bull events that help consumers redeem promotional codes.

7. Food Delivery Customer Service
This is another position with NexRep where you’ll be fielding calls for a farm-to-table food delivery service. Pay is $10 per service hour with the ability to work Monday through Friday 11am to 7pm. If you don’t want to work nights and weekends, you’ll not only love this one, but this one Email location! Only get the occasional phone call.

I love the variety and uniqueness of this list. Honestly, I think I could handle any of these as an introvert. Even the phone position is less stressful, and this call goes faster.
