Working from home is much more common these days than it was ten years ago.

When I first started researching work at home opportunities (probably about fourteen years ago), I had a lot of trouble finding anything with a basic Google search that didn’t lead me directly to a fraudulent website.

Thank God that is no longer true!

Even so, many people are still uncomfortable with the idea of ​​working from home and worry that they might fall for a scam every time they apply for a position online — especially if it’s a company they’ve never heard of before.

So, I decided to compile a list of 10 well-known companies that hire remote workers. These are companies that you and probably everyone else has heard of, but you may not have realized that they offer work from home positions!

These are major companies and corporations – household names. If you’re confused about scams and feel “safer” to apply for a work from home job with a company you know rather than a company you’re not new to, this list might be a good start:

Discover that there are occasional remote openings for postings for student loan and collection specialists. They are generally open to people living in Arizona, Delaware, Ohio, and Utah.

2 – Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Enterprise rent-a-cars are almost always hiring home reservation agents.

As with many such jobs, you may be required to live in or near a specific city which varies depending on their needs.

Hilton – Read Hilton Work at Home Jobs Reviews – This major hotel company has frequent job openings for Home Reservation Agents, Customer Care Coordinators, and Guest Experience Specialists.

You may need to be local to Dallas, TX or Tampa, FL to qualify for these positions as onsite training is required before you can work from home.

3 – HSN (Home Shopping Network)

A company called Qurate Retail Group appears to have acquired Home Shopping Network and similar companies. You can find regular remote job opportunities on their careers page.

HSN remote jobs are open for Virginia, Tennessee and Florida. These are full-time, entry-level positions with a starting pay rate of $15 an hour and regular salary increases every six months for two years (topping out at $17 an hour).

The well-known company behind the Intuit, Quickbooks and TurboTax brands (among others) has regular remote positions available in a variety of categories.

If you search Intuit’s careers page, you’ll often find job openings for remote tax specialists, tax associates, bookkeepers, digital sales consultants, and more.

Salary and hours vary depending on the position you are applying for.
